COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science (Thesis) program in Computer Science requires students to complete 12 credit hours of coursework at the 7000 level or higher, including a mandatory three-credit hour course in Research Methodologies. The program offers a variety of specialized courses that cover key areas of modern computing, such as COMP 7860 Security and Privacy, which explores safeguarding information systems; COMP 7890 Data-Driven Software Engineering, focusing on software development using data analytics; COMP 7920 Advanced Human-Computer Interaction, studying user interface design; COMP 7926 Computational Finance, applying computational techniques to financial problems; and COMP 7950 Advanced Machine Learning, covering sophisticated algorithms for data analysis.
