COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Arts in Classics program offers a variety of graduate-level courses designed to deepen students’ understanding of ancient Greek and Roman languages, literature, history, and archaeology. Students can also engage with the visual and material culture of the classical world through courses like CLAS 7300: Topics in Greek Art and Archaeology and CLAS 7302: Topics in Roman Art and Archaeology. For those interested in Roman culture and language, LATN 7200: Latin Literature provides advanced study of Latin texts, while LATN 7210: Topics in Roman History covers critical historical themes of ancient Rome.
