COURSE CURRICULUM

The Psychology (BSc) program offers a wide array of courses that cover various fundamental and specialized topics in psychological science. PSYC 2360: Brain and Behaviour explores the biological foundations of behaviour, examining how the brain influences actions and mental processes. PSYC 2430: Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology introduces students to alternative approaches emphasizing personal growth, self-awareness, and spiritual aspects of psychology. Research skills are emphasized in PSYC 3340: Design and Analysis for Psychological Experiments, where students learn to design studies and analyze data using scientific methods. Health-related psychological issues are addressed in PSYC 3130: Introduction to Health Psychology, focusing on the interplay between psychological factors and physical health. Sensory processing and cognitive focus are studied in PSYC 3160: Perception and Attention, which investigates how humans interpret and prioritize sensory information.
