COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Physical Education program offers a variety of courses that provide students with a strong foundation in both the scientific and practical aspects of physical education. Foundational science courses like BIOL 1410: Anatomy of the Human Body and BIOL 1412: Physiology of the Human Body equip students with essential knowledge about how the body functions, critical for understanding movement and physical activity. Courses such as KPER 2120: Academic Skills in Kinesiology and Recreation Management and KPER 2170: History of Physical Activity and Leisure offer broader perspectives on the field, including its development and management. The program also includes courses focused on the psychological aspects of sport and physical activity, such as KPER 2540: Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity, which helps students understand motivation and behavior in athletic settings.
