The Strategy and Global Management (BComm) Honours program offers a diverse range of courses designed to equip students with essential skills in leadership, strategy, and international business. Key courses include LEAD 4010 Leading Change, which focuses on managing organizational transformation, and SGMT 3060 Strategic Thinking and Cross-Functional Management, a new course that develops strategic decision-making across business functions. Students also engage in SGMT 3070 Current Issues in Strategy and Global Management, exploring contemporary challenges in the global business landscape. Core management skills are strengthened through GMGT 3010 Management Decision Making, which requires foundational knowledge from GMGT 2070, and GMGT 4210 Seminar in Management and Capitalism, offering deep insights into economic systems and managerial roles. Leadership and interpersonal skills are further developed in courses like LEAD 3010 Negotiation and Conflict Management and LEAD 3020 Team Building and Diversity. To address global business dynamics, students take specialized courses such as FIN 3450 International Finance, MKT 3300 International Marketing, and SCM 3230 Global Supply Chains. The program also offers HRIR 4250 Comparative Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management, which compares labor relations and HR practices across countries.
