The Business Analytics (BComm) Honours program offers a diverse range of courses that combine technical skills with real-world business applications, preparing students to effectively analyze data and support strategic decision-making. Courses such as MIS 3020: Programming for Business Analytics provide students with foundational coding skills necessary for working with large datasets and developing custom analytical tools. MIS 3500: Database Management Systems focuses on how to design, manage, and query databases, a critical skill in handling organizational data. ACC 3010: Data Analytics in Accounting introduces students to analytical methods specific to financial data, enhancing decision-making in auditing, risk assessment, and financial planning. MIS 3510: System Analysis and Design teaches students how to assess business requirements and design systems that meet organizational needs. MKT 4010: Marketing Analytics covers the use of data in consumer behavior analysis, targeting, and campaign evaluation.
