COURSE CURRICULUM

Master of Science (MSc) student in this program, you will develop strong applied research skills and gain valuable hands-on experience that prepares you for careers across diverse sectors, including government, industry, healthcare systems, non-profit organizations, and academia. The program is designed to be completed over two years and combines coursework with an intensive research component. Students are required to complete a minimum of four graduate-level courses along with a thesis, which is conducted under the guidance of an academic supervisor and a thesis committee. For students admitted unconditionally, the program requires the completion of four to six graduate term courses, equivalent to 12.0 to 18.0 credit hours. Core coursework includes Health Sciences 5100, which focuses on research methodologies and provides a foundation in designing and conducting scientific studies. In addition, students must choose between Health Sciences 5300, which covers advanced statistical techniques, or Health Sciences 5400, which emphasizes advanced qualitative analysis. The remaining courses are selected in consultation with the student’s supervisor to align with their research interests and career goals, ensuring a personalized and relevant academic experience.
