COURSE CURRICULUM

General Management program are designed to build a strong foundation in business principles, leadership, and organizational decision-making. MGT 1500: Fundamentals of Business introduces students to the core areas of business such as accounting, marketing, finance, and operations, providing an essential overview of how organizations function. HRLR 2030: Introduction to Organizational Behavior focuses on understanding human behaviour in workplace settings, including motivation, leadership styles, teamwork, and communication within organizations. MGT 3031: Managing Responsibly in a Global Environment explores ethical decision-making, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability while considering the challenges of managing across different cultures and global markets. MGT 4090: Management Policy and Strategy examines how organizations develop long-term strategies, make competitive decisions, and respond to changing business environments. MGT 3062: Information Systems and Data Management introduces students to the role of technology in business, including how data is collected, analyzed, and used to support decision-making and improve organizational efficiency. Together, these courses combine theory and practical applications to develop leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
