COURSE CURRICULUM

The Physics program includes a variety of foundational and advanced courses designed to build a strong understanding of the physical laws that govern the universe. Students typically begin with Introduction to Physics I, II, and III, which establish core concepts in motion, energy, forces, and basic problem-solving techniques. These introductory courses are followed by Mechanics, where students study the motion of objects and the forces that influence them in greater depth. Electricity & Magnetism introduces the principles governing electric fields, circuits, and magnetic interactions, which are essential for understanding modern technologies. Waves, Optics & Sound explores the behaviour of wave phenomena, including light, sound, and their applications in communication and imaging systems. Introduction to Experimental Physics provides hands-on laboratory experience, allowing students to develop practical skills in data collection, analysis, and scientific experimentation. As students progress, they may study more advanced topics such as Quantum Mechanics I, II, and III, which examine the behaviour of matter and energy at atomic and subatomic scales. Nuclear & Particle Physics focuses on the structure of matter and the fundamental particles that make up the universe.
