ABOUT UNIVERSITY

The University of Lethbridge (uLethbridge) is a public research university in Lethbridge, Alberta, with a second campus in Calgary. Founded in 1967, it offers over 150 undergraduate programs and more than 50 graduate programs in fields like arts, sciences, management, education, and health sciences. The university is ranked among Canada’s top primarily undergraduate institutions and has a significant economic impact of $2.0 billion. It is a research-intensive university, with 60 research chairs and 15 interdisciplinary centers, excelling particularly in the sciences. The university offers unique programs, such as pre-professional tracks in law and medicine and a partnership with Indigenous communities for teacher education.
