UFV’s post-baccalaureate diploma program in Computing offers specialized streams in AI and Machine Learning, Software Engineering, and Cybersecurity, each designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills. In the first year, students complete foundational courses such as Introduction to Programming, Systems Hardware Concepts, Introduction to Discrete Mathematics, Networking, Databases, Object-Oriented Programming, and Analysis & Design, providing a solid computing base. In the second year, the AI and Machine Learning stream includes advanced courses like Data Structures and Algorithms, Statistics, Project Management, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, and Advanced Database Topics. The Software Engineering stream focuses on Data Structures and Algorithms, Intermediate Web Programming, Project Management, Software Engineering principles, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Object-Oriented Modeling and Design. The Cybersecurity stream covers Principles of Information Systems Security, Networking Theory and Applications, Malicious Software and Attack Prevention, Data Communications, Networking Security Architecture, System Administration, and Advanced Topics in Information Security.
