COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Trinity Western University requires the completion of 45 semester hours (s.h.), consisting of 30 s.h. of core courses and 15 s.h. of specialization courses. The core curriculum equips students with a strong foundation in essential business disciplines, including Marketing Management (MBA 501), Managerial Accounting (MBA 521), Managerial Economics (MBA 525), Managerial Finance (MBA 542), Human Resource Management (MBA 552), Information & Knowledge Management Systems (MBA 570), Operations Management (MBA 571), and Christian Leadership & Ethics (MBA 593). The program concludes with Business Strategy (MBA 684), a 6 s.h. capstone that includes an Applied Research Project and requires completion of several core courses as prerequisites. The Executive MBA specialization is designed for experienced professionals aiming to deepen their strategic and entrepreneurial capabilities while continuing their careers. This stream includes Enterprise Start-up & Positioning (MBA 671), Business & Venture Financing (MBA 672), Strategic Issues in Marketing the Growing Enterprise (MBA 673), Leadership, Management, and Systems Change (MBA 674), and The Legal Environment of Business (MBA 675). This comprehensive specialization focuses on high-level business planning, financial strategy, leadership transformation, and legal considerations critical for executive-level decision-making and organizational growth.
