COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Arts in Anthropology program at Trent University is a research-intensive graduate degree designed to develop advanced knowledge and independent research skills in anthropology. The program requires students to complete a structured combination of coursework and a major thesis project. Students must take 1.0 credit from either ANTH 5000Y or ANTH 5100Y, which provides foundational graduate-level training in anthropological theory, methods, and thematic areas of study. In addition, students are required to complete ANTH 5500Y, a 1.0-credit course that further strengthens their research and analytical capabilities at an advanced level.
