COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Economics at Trent University is a 15.0-credit General program that provides students with a strong foundation in economic theory, quantitative analysis, and applied problem-solving. The program includes 6.0 core ECON credits, covering key introductory and intermediate courses such as ECON 1010H, ECON 1020H, ECON 1250H, ECON 2000H, ECON 2010H, and ECON 2200H, which introduce students to microeconomics, macroeconomics, and analytical approaches to economic issues. Students also complete an additional 3.0 ECON credits to deepen their understanding of specialized topics and advanced concepts in economics.
