COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Trent University is a 15.0-credit single-major General program designed to provide strong training in biology and chemistry with supporting mathematics and physics. Students complete 12.0 core credits in science disciplines, beginning with 2.5 BIOL credits from foundational courses such as BIOL 1020H, 1030H, 2050H, 2070H, and 3080H, which build understanding of cell biology, genetics, and biological systems. Students must maintain strong academic performance, including a 75% average in chemistry courses for advanced lab-based courses like CHEM 4030Y and 4040D.
