COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical Engineering requires students to complete eight elective credits primarily from Table A, covering advanced topics such as Statistical Inference, Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communications, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Power Electronics, and VLSI Circuit Design, among others. With approval from the Program Director, students may substitute up to two electives from Table B, which includes courses like Smart Grids, Energy Use and Storage, and Electricity Markets. A key milestone of the program is the Master’s Project, which integrates practical engineering design and research skills; alternatively, students may apply to substitute two courses in place of the project. The program emphasizes practical, design-oriented learning and engineering applications, providing flexibility for students to tailor their studies according to their interests and career goals. This course-based degree is well suited for those aiming to advance their technical expertise and enter professional engineering practice or industry roles. The diverse course offerings cover foundational and emerging areas in electrical engineering, preparing graduates to address complex challenges in modern electrical and computer engineering fields.
