COURSE CURRICULUM

The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Finance at Thompson Rivers University is a 20-course program designed for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree and want to develop strong financial analysis and investment management skills. The program begins with foundational courses such as mathematics for business and economics, calculus for business and economics, principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, financial management, financial accounting, management accounting, economics and business statistics, and management information systems. These courses help you understand financial systems, economic behavior, and quantitative analysis used in financial decision-making. The program then focuses on advanced finance topics including portfolio and equity analysis, fixed income and alternative investments, derivative securities, advanced financial management, and international financial management.
