COURSE CURRICULUM

The Regenerative Agriculture Diploma at Thompson Rivers University (Williams Lake Campus) offers a detailed, hands-on curriculum that combines sustainable farming practices with business and land management education. In the second year, the curriculum becomes more advanced and specialized, covering beef nutrition and herd health, beef genetics and agricultural technology, sheep production and flock management, winter forage production, agri-tourism and marketing, food sovereignty, Indigenous land knowledge, and regenerative tourism business strategies. Students also complete a comprehensive business and operations plan based on their farm enterprise, along with research analysis and presentations instead of traditional exams. The program emphasizes experiential learning through weekly seminars, field trips, and continuous farm-based work.
