COURSE CURRICULUM

The program structure requires a total of 12 credits, with a minimum grade of C- in each course, and is designed to build advanced knowledge and skills in tourism management. Students must complete 6 required credits, including TMGT 4010 Experience Creation and Product Development and TMGT 4120 Developing New Tourism Enterprises, which focus on designing innovative tourism experiences and building new business ventures. In addition to these core courses, students choose remaining credits from a selection of specialized upper-level courses that allow them to tailor their learning to specific interests within the tourism industry. These options include topics such as innovation and leadership, tourist behavior, tourism strategy, managing small tourism enterprises, global tourism environments, and the use of information technology in tourism. Courses like Managing the Tourist Experience and the Tourism Enterprise Consulting Project provide practical insights into enhancing customer satisfaction and solving real-world business challenges.
