COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts (Aviation Stream) at St. Thomas University is a four-year program that combines a traditional arts education with professional pilot training, allowing students to develop both academic and aviation skills. In the first year, students begin their studies on campus by taking courses in the social sciences and humanities, building a strong foundation in critical thinking, communication, and analytical abilities. After completing at least 24 credit hours, students move into the second year where they are introduced to aviation-specific components, including flight training and ground school courses. Throughout the program, students continue to balance their academic major in a chosen arts discipline with their aviation training, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience. By the end of the program, graduates earn a Bachelor of Arts degree along with several key aviation qualifications, including a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), a multi-engine class rating, and a Group 1 instrument rating. This combination of academic and technical credentials prepares students for a wide range of career opportunities within the aviation industry.
