COURSE CURRICULUM

The program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare students for dynamic roles in IT support, networking, cloud computing, and system administration. In Semester 1, students build foundational skills in computer mathematics, communication, databases, programming with C++, and networking basics, complemented by a general education course. Semester 2 advances technical knowledge with courses on computer hardware, advanced networking including routing and switching, operating system scripting, Linux fundamentals, Windows administration, and DevOps, preparing students for real-world system management and certification readiness. In Semester 3, students focus on technical support procedures, cloud computing deployment, advanced Windows and Linux server management, cloud scripting with tools like Terraform and PowerShell, and advanced network design and automation, alongside career strategies and professional development. This semester deepens practical skills and introduces emerging cloud technologies. Semester 4 culminates with practical experience through work placement or simulated work environments, allowing students to apply their skills in professional settings. Advanced courses cover virtualization and containerization, high-level network optimization and security, and the Internet of Things (IoT), addressing the latest industry trends and challenges. The program also includes an online general education course to ensure well-rounded learning. Throughout the program, students gain hands-on experience, develop critical troubleshooting and scripting skills, and explore both traditional and cutting-edge technologies, positioning them for success in diverse IT careers such as cloud infrastructure management, network administration, and technical support.
