ABOUT UNIVERSITY
St. Clair College, founded in 1966 and originating from the Western Ontario Institute of Technology established in 1958, is a well-established Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology with its main administration and largest campus located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It also operates campuses in Chatham and Wallaceburg. The college has expanded over the years, including acquiring the former Cleary International Centre in downtown Windsor in 2007, now known as the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts, and transforming the former Salvation Army building into Canada’s first state-of-the-art journalism school with support from a $5 million federal grant. In 2014, St. Clair opened a new SportsPlex at its main campus. The college has experienced significant growth in its international student population, which surpassed domestic enrolment by 2021-22. St. Clair’s revenue increased from roughly $150 million in 2018 to over $300 million by 2024, with foreign student tuition contributing more than $200 million, reflecting its expanding presence in higher education.
