COURSE CURRICULUM

The Hospitality and Tourism Management – Multi-Disciplinary diploma requires 63 credits (22 courses) and is completed over two years, with two semesters each year. This comprehensive program includes core hospitality courses that develop foundational skills in financial accounting, business math applications, digital communication, microeconomics, and financial management tailored to the hospitality sector. Students also study human resources, guest experience, safety, ethics, and leadership, alongside a professional internship for real-world experience. The multi-disciplinary stream includes focused training in restaurant operations and event service management. To further customize the learning experience, students select two junior and two senior specialization electives from a wide variety of areas such as beverage management, entrepreneurship, event planning, hotel operations, tourism, and culinary arts. Elective options include courses like Beverage Exploration, Event Project Management, Hotel Practicum, New Venture Planning, and Tour Product Design Capstone, allowing students to tailor their education to suit their individual career interests. This flexible structure provides a well-rounded education that prepares graduates for various roles across the hospitality and tourism sectors, equipping them with the knowledge, practical experience, and specialized training needed to thrive in a competitive, global industry.
