COURSE CURRICULUM

The Hospitality and Tourism Management – Entrepreneurship and Innovation diploma program requires 63 credits (22 courses) to complete over two years, with two semesters each year. It provides a robust foundation in hospitality core subjects such as financial accounting, microeconomics, digital business math, communication, human resource management, and leadership. Key courses include Financial Accounting for the Hospitality Industry, Law and Ethics in Hospitality and Tourism, Brand and Guest Experience, Service Marketing and Sales, and Financial Management in Hospitality. Students also develop leadership and team-building skills through courses like Self-Awareness and Team Dynamics, Leading High-Performance Teams, and Leadership and Organizational Culture. The entrepreneurship and innovation core enhances students' entrepreneurial abilities with courses like Entrepreneurial Mindset and Journey, Design Thinking and Innovation, New Venture Planning, and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Capstone. Students also complete a professional internship for hands-on experience. To tailor the program, students select one junior and one senior specialization elective from areas like beverage exploration, event planning, hotel operations, restaurant service, culinary arts, and tourism. This blend of core, specialized, and elective courses prepares graduates to launch and manage innovative hospitality ventures or bring fresh perspectives to established organizations in the global tourism and hospitality industry.
