COURSE CURRICULUM

The Hospitality and Tourism Management – Beverage Management diploma requires 63 credits across 22 courses over two years, with two semesters each year. The program combines core hospitality courses and specialized beverage management training to prepare students for diverse roles in the hospitality industry. Core courses include Financial Accounting for Hospitality, Digital Technology for Business Math, Communication Fundamentals, Microeconomics, and Financial Management in Hospitality. Students also study Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism, Safety and Certifications, Law and Ethics, Human Resource Management, and Leadership courses focused on team dynamics, high-performance teams, and organizational culture. Marketing courses such as Brand and Guest Experience, Service Marketing and Sales, and Marketing Strategy provide a solid foundation in guest relations and promotion. Additionally, a Professional Internship offers real-world experience. The beverage management core delves into Beverage Exploration I, II, and III, covering a wide range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, along with Beverage Sales and Retail, focusing on inventory and sales management. The program culminates with Beverage Program Design and Management Capstone, where students apply their knowledge to create and manage beverage programs.
