COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Intelligence Data Analysis and Reporting program requires 19.5 credits across nine courses and spans 23 weeks, including one semester of full-time study followed by an eight-week practicum placement. This program provides a comprehensive foundation in data management and business intelligence, preparing students to handle and analyze data effectively for informed decision-making. Core courses include Introduction to Data Management, which covers fundamental concepts of organizing and controlling data, and Architecture and Design, focusing on database and system structures. Students will learn Data Discovery and Ingestion techniques to gather and import data from various sources and develop skills in Reporting and Analytics to create insightful reports. Data Preparation and Presentation courses teach how to clean, organize, and visualize data for clear communication. Business Analysis for Business Intelligence Applications and Performance Management Applications focus on applying data analysis to optimize business performance. The program concludes with an Applied Business Intelligence Project, allowing students to integrate and apply their knowledge in a practical setting, and a Career Advancement Practicum that offers real-world experience and networking opportunities.
