COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources requires 120 credits (39 courses) for completion, including at least 72 senior-level credits. Most courses are three credits, except for the six-credit integrative experience. The program includes 45 credits of business core courses, 18 credits of complementary core, 12 credits of complementary electives, 45 credits of major courses, and an optional 12-credit minor. The first semester is common for all majors, with students declaring their major in the second semester through a competitive screening process. Required junior business core courses cover fundamentals like financial accounting, business productivity tools, business mathematics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, marketing essentials, and introduction to business. Senior business core courses include business law, organizational behavior, international business, and strategic management. Complementary courses cover communication, critical thinking, ethics, and quantitative methods. The Human Resources major offers courses in accounting for managers, finance, employment law, talent management, human resource management, health and safety, labor relations, project management, conflict management, and change management. Students must also complete an integrative experience via a business practicum or capstone. Electives include science, humanities, and social sciences options, along with senior complementary electives like intercultural communications or ethics in technology. Senior HR electives allow students to specialize further with courses in taxation, business analytics, leadership, marketing, supply chain management, and more, ensuring a well-rounded, practical education.
