COURSE CURRICULUM

The Supply Chain Management program at Sheridan College is a two-year graduate certificate designed to prepare students for careers in logistics, procurement, operations, and supply chain strategy. In the first semester, students build foundational business and communication skills through courses such as Workplace Communications in Canada, Business Communications and Presentations, Business Fundamentals, and Business Competency Development. They also explore modern workplace trends with The Future of Work: Engagement, Productivity and Wellness, along with Applications of Creativity and Innovation to strengthen problem-solving abilities. The second semester focuses on core supply chain knowledge, including Foundations of Supply Chain Management, Sourcing and Procurement, Supply Chain Finance and Innovation, Data Analytics for Supply Chain, Operations Management, and Leadership in Supply Chain and Logistics. In the third semester, students advance to strategic and technology-driven topics such as Supply Chain Strategy and Innovation, Project Management, Supply Chain Technology and Artificial Intelligence, Automation in Logistics, and Supply Chain Risk and Resilience. They also complete an Integrative Project Experience and a Work-Term and Career Preparation course. The final semester includes an optional Co-op Work Term or Co-op Workplace Simulation, giving students practical industry exposure. Overall, the program blends business fundamentals, analytics, AI, and logistics expertise to prepare graduates for modern global supply chain careers.
