COURSE CURRICULUM

The one-year Supply Chain Management – Logistics Automation program at Sheridan College is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of modern supply chain operations and the skills needed to succeed in a technology-driven environment. In the first semester, students take courses in foundations of supply chain management, sourcing and procurement, supply chain finance and innovation, data analytics for supply chain, operations management, and leadership in supply chain and logistics, totaling 21 credits. These courses provide a strong grounding in the essential concepts and practices used in supply chain and logistics, with an emphasis on analytical and leadership skills. In the second semester, students continue their studies with courses in supply chain strategy and innovation, project management, supply chain technology and artificial intelligence, automation and AI in logistics, supply chain risk and resilience, and case studies in supply chain. Students who qualify for the co-op option also complete a work-term and career preparation course, bringing the second semester total to 20 credits, or 21 with the co-op component. The program concludes with an optional co-op work term that allows students to gain hands-on, practical experience in real-world supply chain and logistics settings. By the end of the program, graduates will have the knowledge and skills to pursue roles in logistics, procurement, operations, and supply chain management while being prepared to use modern tools and technology in their work.
