COURSE CURRICULUM

Business Marketing diploma at Sheridan provides a comprehensive curriculum that equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced marketing industry. In the first semester, students build a foundation in marketing, business communication, introductory accounting, computer applications, business math, and business learning foundations, totaling 18 credits. The second semester continues to develop essential skills with courses in marketing, business communications, macroeconomics, using business information systems, marketing financial analysis, and a general education elective, again totaling 18 credits. In the third semester, students focus on applied marketing skills through marketing analysis and planning, professional selling, visual communication technology, multichannel digital marketing, marketing statistics, and an additional general education elective, totaling 18 credits. The fourth and final semester emphasizes advanced marketing concepts, preparing students for professional practice with courses in managing marketing opportunities, professional development and career preparation, integrated marketing communications, advanced multichannel digital marketing, marketing research, and marketing ethics and law, for a total of 18 credits. Across all semesters, the program balances theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning, incorporating digital tools, analytics, strategy, and communication, ensuring graduates leave with practical experience, industry-ready skills, and a strong portfolio to launch a successful career in marketing across diverse sectors.
