COURSE CURRICULUM

The Cloud Architecture & Administration program spans two semesters, combining technical expertise, leadership development, and practical experience to prepare students for careers in modern IT environments. In Semester 1, students build foundational knowledge through courses such as Cloud Automation and Control Systems, Introduction to Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Architecture, and Programming for Cloud, all of which provide essential skills in designing, managing, and automating cloud-based and hybrid systems. Security Management and Project Management complement the technical curriculum, emphasizing risk mitigation, compliance, and project leadership. Semester 2 advances students’ skills with courses like Cloud Integration, Portable Technologies in Cloud, Data Storage and Management Technologies, Ethics, Compliance and Risk Management, and Incident Response and Forensics, preparing graduates to address complex operational and security challenges in cloud and IT environments. The Capstone Project provides an opportunity to integrate knowledge across courses, applying technical, management, and analytical skills to solve real-world IT challenges. Students may also opt for a work-integrated learning term, supported by Work Term Preparation, gaining hands-on industry experience and exposure to professional cloud environments. Overall, the program equips graduates with the expertise to manage cloud infrastructure, ensure compliance, implement security protocols, and contribute effectively to IT operations, positioning them for advancement in technology-driven organizations.
