COURSE CURRICULUM

The Artificial Intelligence program is structured across two semesters, offering a comprehensive blend of foundational and advanced AI coursework. Semester 1 emphasizes core technical skills, beginning with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, both delivered in hybrid format to build a strong understanding of algorithms, models and AI fundamentals. Strategic Evidence Based Decision Making, offered online, helps students apply analytical thinking to real business problems. Cloud Computing for Machine Learning introduces essential cloud platforms and tools, while Advanced Data Visualization strengthens students’ ability to communicate complex insights through effective visual techniques. Data Preparation and Governance rounds out the semester with crucial training in data quality, ethics and regulatory considerations. Semester 2 moves into more advanced, application-focused topics. Students complete a Capstone Project in hybrid format, allowing them to integrate their learning into a real-world AI solution. Courses such as Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing and Robotics provide hands-on experience with key AI domains used across industry. Work Term Preparation, offered online in the summer, supports students pursuing the optional work-integrated learning placement. Those who choose this path may complete the Artificial Intelligence Work Term to gain valuable industry experience. Together, these courses prepare graduates for impactful, data-driven roles in the evolving AI landscape.
