COURSE CURRICULUM

The Professional Accounting Practice graduate certificate program is structured over three semesters, providing a comprehensive foundation in accounting principles and practices while preparing students for the CPA Professional Education Program. In the first semester, students take courses such as Introduction to Financial Accounting, Business Statistics, Introduction to Business Law, Finance, Business Information Systems, and Microeconomics, equipping them with essential knowledge of financial principles, quantitative analysis, legal frameworks, and business technology. The second semester builds on this foundation with courses in Management Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting I, Income Tax I, Auditing, Financial Management, and Macroeconomics, offering deeper insights into accounting, taxation, auditing procedures, financial planning, and economic theory. In the third semester, students advance their expertise through Intermediate Financial Accounting II, Income Tax II, Management Accounting – Intermediate, Business Cases I, Advanced Financial Accounting, and International Strategic Management, focusing on complex accounting issues, strategic decision-making, and real-world business problem-solving.
