COURSE CURRICULUM

The Visual Content Creation program is a comprehensive two-year diploma designed to prepare students for careers as innovative content creators across a variety of industries, emphasizing both technical proficiency and creative development. In the first semester, students build foundational skills through courses in photography, videography, content editing, visual culture, and professional practices, complemented by hybrid and in-person learning opportunities that foster hands-on experience and collaborative engagement. The second semester expands technical expertise with capture labs in sound and lighting, advanced content editing, project production, business practices, and exposure to emerging and alternate technologies, alongside general education to strengthen critical thinking and professional knowledge. In the third semester, students focus on multi-platform strategy design, advanced content editing, capstone pre-production, personal branding, and choose a specialization in either advanced video production, sound, and editing, or advanced lighting, digital imaging, and workflow, allowing them to tailor their learning to specific industry needs. The final semester culminates in a comprehensive capstone project, including mentoring, production, and presentation, alongside courses in entrepreneurship and networking to prepare students for professional careers. Through this progression, students develop a robust portfolio, gain entrepreneurial skills, and cultivate creative, technical, and professional competencies necessary to excel in the dynamic field of visual content creation.
