COURSE CURRICULUM

The Interactive Media Design program spans four semesters and provides a comprehensive education in digital media, combining creativity, technical skills, and business knowledge to prepare students for careers in this fast-paced industry. In the first semester, students develop foundational skills through courses in design principles, interactive media tools, digital photography, typography, sound, adaptive web design, and business fundamentals, establishing a strong base for creative and technical work. The second semester builds on these skills with advanced design principles, interactive media tools, mindful design, video production, web development, and business strategy, while also integrating a general education course to broaden perspectives. In the third semester, students explore user experience design, VFX and motion graphics, 3D fundamentals, content creation, advanced web development, and business applications, applying their knowledge in practical, project-based scenarios alongside a general education course. The fourth semester focuses on advanced topics, including UX and interaction design, immersive technologies, advanced motion graphics, interactive project management, emerging technologies, career planning, and field placement preparation, enabling students to synthesize their learning in real-world contexts. Throughout the program, students gain the skills to design and implement engaging digital experiences, master technical tools, and develop professional strategies, leaving graduates prepared for careers in web and app development, UX design, motion graphics, 3D media, and interactive content creation, equipped to innovate in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
