COURSE CURRICULUM

This diploma program provides a structured pathway for students to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional attitude required for a career as a flight attendant or in airline operations. Semester 1 introduces foundational concepts with courses in communication, flight attendant policies and procedures, aircraft general safety, domestic and transborder destinations, ground operations, and aviation first aid. In Semester 2, students build on these skills with successful flight management, customer experience creation, aircraft systems and emergency equipment, specialized aircraft training for Airbus, Embraer, Boeing, and Bombardier, airline departure control systems, and career planning. Semester 3 focuses on inflight and emergency ground procedures, aviation security, airline sales and marketing, and includes General Education courses and a professional option such as social media influences in the airline industry, diversity and inclusion, or crew resource management. Semester 4 prepares students for international airline operations through courses in the theory of flight fundamentals, emergency evacuations, airline terminology in French, international destinations, and an in-person career placement, along with an additional General Education course. The curriculum combines online, hybrid, and in-person learning, emphasizing hands-on experience with safety and emergency equipment, customer service excellence, and professional development. By the end of the program, graduates are equipped with strong communication, technical, and industry-specific skills, ready to succeed in the dynamic, customer-focused airline sector.
