COURSE CURRICULUM

Diploma program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge essential for careers in biochemical and laboratory sciences. In the first semester, students build foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, mathematics, scientific problem-solving, and professional communication, along with hands-on experience in laboratory practices through courses such as Science Survival. In the second semester, students expand their technical and analytical skills with advanced computer applications, continued study in biology and chemistry, and higher-level mathematics, complemented by a general education course. The third semester introduces applied and specialized courses, including Applied Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, and Effective Technical Writing, fostering the ability to conduct precise laboratory work, document findings, and analyze complex biochemical data. In the fourth and final semester, students deepen their expertise in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Methods, and a choice between Industrial Microbiology or Introduction to Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, integrating laboratory techniques with theoretical understanding. Throughout the program, students gain proficiency in using laboratory instruments, performing accurate chemical and biological analyses, and applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills in experimental design and execution. Graduates emerge well-prepared for careers in research, quality control, pharmaceuticals, industrial laboratories, and other biochemical science settings, combining technical expertise with practical laboratory experience.
