COURSE CURRICULUM

Business Management and Entrepreneurship diploma program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to succeed in today’s dynamic business environment. In the first semester, students are introduced to core business principles through courses such as Introduction to Business Administration, Business Computer Applications, Sustainable Business, Professional Presentation Skills, and foundational mathematics, while also developing communication skills in Communicating Across Contexts. The second semester builds on this foundation with Accounting I, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, Data Analysis Tools for Business, and an exploration of Global Economic Issues, along with a General Education course to broaden perspectives. In the third semester, students further develop essential business competencies through Customer Service Solutions, Business Communication for the Digital Workplace, Principles of Microeconomics, Human Resources Management, Production and Operations Management, Business Statistics, and an additional General Education course, emphasizing practical application and digital proficiency. The fourth and final semester focuses on managerial and applied skills with Managerial Accounting, Business Economics, Career Planning or Career Foundations Lab, CRM and Selling, Project Management, and Management Studies including Canadian Business Law, culminating in a well-rounded education that combines critical thinking, problem-solving, research, decision-making, and practical digital skills, preparing graduates to confidently enter and contribute to a variety of business and entrepreneurial environments.
