COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business – Supply Chain & Operations program provides a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare students for careers in managing complex supply chains and operations in global, technology-driven environments. In the first semester, students build foundational knowledge through courses such as Introduction to Artificial Intelligence in Business, Introduction to Business Administration, Communicating Across Contexts, Mathematics of Business and Finance, Introduction to Sustainable Business, and Business Computer Applications, alongside a general education course. The second semester develops essential analytical, managerial, and operational skills with Accounting I, Business Communication for the Digital Workplace, Organizational Behaviour, Production and Operations Management, Business Statistics, Data Analysis Tools for Business, and a general education course. In the third semester, students focus on applied skills through Career Foundations Lab or Work Term Preparation, Introduction to Project Management, Negotiation Strategies for Business, Supply Chain Management, Total Quality Management, Purchasing and Materials Management, Production Scheduling and Inventory Management, and Occupational Health and Safety, with an optional Work-Integrated Learning term providing practical industry experience. The fourth semester emphasizes advanced integration and application of knowledge with Enterprise Resource Planning I, Import/Export Procedures I, Operational Resilience, International Distribution Systems, Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management, and a Supply Chain and Operations Integrated Project, complemented by a general education course. This structured progression ensures graduates are equipped to manage, analyze, and optimize supply chain and operational processes, leveraging technology, strategic planning, and industry best practices.
