COURSE CURRICULUM

The Flight Services program curriculum provides comprehensive airline industry training across two semesters, combining safety, service and technical knowledge essential for aspiring flight attendants. In Semester 1, you will build core communication skills through Communicating Across Contexts while developing foundational airline expertise in courses such as Flight Attendant Specific – Policies and Procedures, Aircraft General Safety, Ground Operations and Airline Destinations: Domestic and Transborder. You will also be introduced to essential systems used in the industry, including the Airline Departure Control System, and begin training in Aviation First Aid, ensuring you understand both preventative safety practices and emergency response skills. Semester 2 advances your learning with Successful Flight Management, which strengthens your leadership and in-flight decision-making abilities, and Creating the Customer Experience, where you refine service excellence techniques. Technical knowledge deepens through Aircraft Systems and Emergency Equipment, along with specialized courses covering Airbus, Embraer, Boeing and Bombardier aircraft types, giving you the versatility to operate confidently across multiple fleets. You will also continue working with the Airline Departure Control System to enhance operational proficiency. Together, the program’s curriculum ensures you graduate with strong communication, safety awareness, system knowledge and professional service skills required to succeed in the aviation industry.
