COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management degree program features an eight-semester curriculum that builds a strong foundation in core business disciplines and advanced management practices. Early semesters focus on Canadian business, financial mathematics, accounting, business presentations, statistics, business law, computer applications, management accounting and human resources, delivered primarily in flexible formats. Students then advance to marketing, business ethics, finance, organizational behaviour and microeconomics, supported by required liberal studies courses. Mid-program studies include project management, business innovation, sustainability, geography, macroeconomics, integrated marketing communications and work-term preparation, followed by a work-integrated learning term that provides hands-on industry experience. Senior semesters emphasize specialized business functions such as B2B marketing, selling, non-profit management, operations, strategic management, leadership, international business, sustainability issues, global supply chains and strategic business solutions. The final year includes project management II, customer service, information technology for managers, applied research methodology and additional liberal studies. The program concludes with advanced courses in taxation, applied research, innovation and organizational change management. Throughout the degree, students develop strong analytical, decision-making and project management skills while gaining comprehensive exposure to finance, operations, HR, marketing and global business practices, preparing them for diverse managerial roles in today’s competitive business environment.
