COURSE CURRICULUM

Computer Systems Technology advanced diploma program provides students with comprehensive training in networking, system administration, security, and emerging IT technologies. In the first semester, students build foundational skills in computing, networking, Linux, Microsoft services, strategic problem solving, and professional communication. The second semester focuses on static networks, Microsoft server administration, open systems, and system security, along with general education courses to enhance analytical and critical thinking skills. In the third semester, students study software-defined networks, databases, cloud technologies, open system application servers, and security incident response while preparing for their first work-integrated learning term, gaining hands-on experience. The fourth semester emphasizes wireless networks, on-premises networking and server administration projects, Microsoft cloud administration, open system administration, and professional options courses, with a second co-op term providing further practical experience. In the final year, students advance into emerging technologies including the Internet of Things, enterprise management, applied integration, Microsoft Azure certification, and process digitalization, complemented by open source and security certifications. Throughout the program, students can select professional options such as cloud environments, IT security, programming, project management, and Windows administration, enabling them to tailor their education to their career goals. Graduates leave the program ready to analyze, design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and networks in diverse professional environments.
