COURSE CURRICULUM

The program’s six-semester structure provides a comprehensive and progressive pathway toward becoming a highly skilled software developer. In the first year, you build essential foundations through courses such as Applied Problem Solving, Mathematics for programrs, Operating Systems for programrs and programming in C, complemented by introductory database, object-oriented programming, software testing and web programming courses. The second year deepens your technical expertise with advanced database services, C++ development, IT project management, web frameworks and software analysis and design, supported by strong communication training. You also complete Work Term Preparation and may participate in a co-op placement to gain real-world experience. In the upper semesters, you advance into AI for programrs, data structures and algorithms, statistics, more complex software design and web application development, followed by a second co-op term. The final year emphasizes advanced AI, application development, project planning and management, culminating in a major project implementation course. Professional Options in areas such as cloud computing, robotics software design, game development, mobile development, UI/UX, databases, open-source technologies and more allow you to customize your learning and specialize in emerging fields. Together, these courses prepare you for dynamic careers in software development and related disciplines.
