Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, rebranded as Seneca Polytechnic in 2023, is a public multi-campus institution located across the Greater Toronto Area and Peterborough, Ontario. Established in 1967 as part of Ontario's initiative to create a network of colleges focused on career-oriented education, Seneca has grown into one of the province’s leading polytechnic institutions. It offers over 145 full-time and 135 part-time programs, including 14 bachelor's degrees and 30 graduate certificates, with a strong emphasis on experiential learning through co-ops, internships, and placements. Seneca's curriculum is regularly updated with input from industry advisory committees to ensure relevance in today's job market. The institution maintains more than 70 transfer agreements with universities worldwide, enabling students to pursue further education in countries like Australia, Ireland, the U.K., and the U.S. It is also a hub for international education, welcoming approximately 10,000 international students from 130 countries annually, supported by its English Language Institute. Seneca continues to expand globally through partnerships, research collaborations, and study abroad options, positioning itself as a leader in applied, flexible, and globally connected education.
