COURSE CURRICULUM

The two-year Computer Systems Technology diploma includes six structured semesters that build a strong foundation in programming, networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and modern application development. In Year 1, students begin with organizational behaviour, data communications, data automation, operating systems fundamentals, introductory programming, web development, and user experience. The second semester expands into database management, hardware, server administration, systems analysis, intermediate programming, web applications, and technical communication. Semester 3 focuses on a systems project, mobile application programming, and advanced web development. In Year 2, Semester 4 introduces applied machine learning, enterprise systems support, data structures and algorithms, advanced mobile application management, cybersecurity, and the first capstone project. Semester 5 advances into mathematics and data analytics, advanced operating systems, cloud infrastructure administration, advanced backend development, cybersecurity, a second capstone project, and career preparation. The final semester includes emerging technologies, systems administration, and the concluding capstone project. Across all semesters, the program blends theory with hands-on labs to prepare graduates for roles in software development, systems support, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
