COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Arts in Global Leadership curriculum combines foundational, experiential and customizable learning to prepare students for leadership in complex global environments. Required courses include Introduction to Academic Integrity, Personal and Theoretical Foundations to Global Leadership, Personal Capacities for Working in Complex Global Systems, and Leadership Action Through Authentic Collaboration, Inquiry, and Dialogue, delivered through online, blended and on-campus formats to support flexible learning. Students can tailor their studies through electives such as Navigating Geo-Political Dynamics of Global Communities, Community Development in a Global Context, Strategic Analysis, Decision Making and Evaluation, Managing Difficult Relationships Within and Across Community Dynamics, and Evaluation in a Global Context, allowing them to explore areas aligned with their professional goals. To complete the program, learners choose one of three pathways: a capstone project that integrates their knowledge into a major applied initiative; an internship pathway, which includes internship preparation and a field-based leadership placement, available only in the extended two-year option; or an international study abroad experience that deepens intercultural understanding and global engagement. Collectively, the curriculum builds strategic thinking, cross-cultural communication, reflective practice and applied leadership capacity, equipping graduates to lead transformative change across diverse global contexts.
