COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graduate Certificate in Global Leadership includes three carefully designed courses that build essential skills for effective leadership in global and multicultural environments. The program begins with ITAI, Introduction to Academic Integrity, a non-credit online module that ensures students understand the principles of ethical academic conduct and professional responsibility. Students then take GBLD501, Personal and Theoretical Foundations to Global Leadership, a three-credit course that introduces key leadership theories while encouraging learners to reflect on their own values, worldviews and leadership identity. This sets the stage for GBLD505, Personal Capacities for Working in Complex Global Systems, a nine-credit course delivered in blended, online or on-campus formats. It focuses on developing practical abilities such as systems thinking, cross-cultural communication, collaboration, adaptive leadership, self-awareness and resilience. Through team projects, applied activities and reflective learning, students practice navigating complex global challenges and learn how to work effectively with diverse groups. Together, these courses form a comprehensive, immersive learning experience that equips professionals to lead responsibly, confidently and inclusively in international or multicultural settings while applying their learning directly to real-world work environments.
