COURSE CURRICULUM

The Science Laboratory Technology program offers a comprehensive and hands-on curriculum designed to equip students with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required for success in diverse scientific laboratory environments. Courses such as Fundamental Lab Skills (CBST-1013) and Applied Chemistry Techniques (CHEM-1008) focus on essential laboratory practices, including proper equipment handling, aseptic techniques, and classic wet chemistry methods. Applied Biochemistry (BIOL-1004) and Organic Chemistry (CHEM-1006) provide in-depth training in the analysis of biomolecules and organic compounds, while Applied Microbiology (MBIO-1002) teaches students to safely cultivate and identify microorganisms. Measurements, Calculations and Physics Principles (CBST-1018) supports laboratory accuracy through quantitative analysis and instrument use.
