COURSE CURRICULUM

The Digital Media Design – Certificate program consists of a well-rounded curriculum delivered over two terms, providing students with foundational skills across various creative and technical disciplines. In Term 1, students develop communication and design fundamentals through courses such as Digital Media Design Communications 1, Design 1, and User Experience 1. They explore essential tools and techniques in Web Design 1, Media Production 1, and Photography, while also gaining hands-on experience in visual storytelling and concept development through Drawing and Illustration 1. Technical creativity is further enhanced with 3D Fundamentals 1 and 3D Artistry 1, offering an introduction to modeling and rendering for digital applications. Term 2 builds on these skills with more advanced study in Digital Media Design Communications 2 and the continuation of core creative courses including Design 2, Web Design 2, Media Production 2, and Drawing and Illustration 2. Students deepen their 3D knowledge with 3D Fundamentals 2 and 3D Artistry 2, while also being introduced to foundational programming concepts in Programming Logic. Throughout the year, students are immersed in industry-relevant projects that emphasize problem solving, design thinking, and professional communication. The program equips students with practical experience in creating and editing digital content across multiple media platforms, preparing them for entry-level positions or further study in areas such as motion graphics, web development, or game art.
