COURSE CURRICULUM

The graduate program in Pathology and Molecular Medicine offers a comprehensive set of courses designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in biomedical research. Core courses include QACS-799 Introduction to Animal Care, which provides foundational training in ethical and humane treatment of research animals, and Research Ethics Education: Gateway to CHRPP, which ensures students are well-versed in the principles and regulations governing ethical research. Specialized courses such as PATH-822 Experimental Cancer Therapeutics, PATH-823 Cancer Biology, and PATH-826 The Molecular Basis of Disease offer in-depth understanding of cancer mechanisms, molecular pathology, and translational approaches. PATH-827 Research Project in Pathology provides hands-on experience in laboratory research, while PATH-828 Bioinformatics for Cancer Research introduces computational techniques for analyzing complex biological data. Students also participate in PATH-830/930 Pathology and Molecular Medicine Research Seminar Series, which fosters critical thinking, presentation skills, and engagement with current scientific developments.
